.25 ACP caliber, 3.125" barrel, S/N 4368. Patented in 1904 by Richard Schuler and manufactured between 1907 and 1914 by the August Schuler Waffenfabrik in Suhl, Germany, the Reform Pistol represents one of the era's most bizarre yet clever attempts to shrink down the bulk of a traditional pocket revolver. Seeking to provide discrete personal protection for vest pockets, the design replaces a rotating cylinder with a flat, vertically stacked block of four individual barrels. Marked on the side of the barrels "Brevete D.R.P.". Blue finish with hard rubber logo grips. This pistol retains most of the original blue finish. The grips are excellent. The bore is very good. The action is crisp. Excellent overall.
