.22 caliber, 12" Octagonal to round barrel, S/N 19026.  Founded by Joshua Stevens in 1864, the company pioneered the iconic American "Bicycle Rifle" or "Pocket Rifle" concept. Built on Stevens' signature 1" wide medium frame, this single-shot firearm instantly converts from a target handgun into a highly accurate, shoulder-braced rimfire carbine. Blue barrel with nickel frame and walnut grips. Tang sight and front folding globe. Nickel finish skeleton shoulder stock. The barrel retains most of the original blue finish. The frame retains most of the dulled nickel finish.  The grips are excellent and the bore is bright and shiny.
