.30 rf caliber, 3.5 " octagonal barrel, S/N 153. The Morgan & Clapp Pocket Pistol is a classic post-Civil War American metallic cartridge pocket firearm. Produced in New Haven, Connecticut, in the late 1860s, these small single shot pistols are unique due to the tip-up barrel release and elegant silhouette. Blue unmarked barrel with plated steel frame. Case colored hammer and rosewood grips. The barrel retains a hint of blue finish with wear to the high edges. The frame is speckled with plated finish. The grips are very good. The bore is good.
