.300 bore diameter, 3.5" barrel, NSN. Located in the heart of England's cutlery manufacturing hub, Unwin & Rodgers patented their ingenious combination knife pistol to cater to the personal security needs of Victorian travelers, mail coaches, and merchants. Designed for maximum versatility, the weapon allowed a gentleman to navigate dangerous roads with complete discretion. If the single black powder shot failed or missed its mark, the operator instantly held a defensive blade in their hand without needing to switch weapons.  3.5" spear point blade with markings "James Rodgers & Co Shefield". The blade has a nice etched panel "Self Protector".  German silver barrel. Checkered horn grips on curved rear while the front of the grips are smooth.  Missing the mold but does have the ramrod and tweezers. Overall excellent.
