.22 caliber, 2.5" barrel, S/N 106780. The Colt Open Top Pocket Model Revolver is one of Colt's first non-conversion metallic cartridge handguns following the expiration of Smith & Wesson's Rollin White patent monopoly. Designed by the legendary engineering duo of William Mason and Charles Brinckerhoff Richards, approximately 114,000 of these 7-shot pocket pistols were manufactured between 1871 and 1877. Nickel finish with varnished walnut grips. The brass frame retains some of the nickel finish. The barrel and cylinder retain some finish in the protected areas. The grips are very good with a couple of scuffs along the edge. Overall very good.
