8mm Pinfire caliber, 4.25" barrel, NSN. Patented by J. Chamelot and Henri-Gustave Delvigne, this revolver utilizes Casimir Lefaucheux’s self-contained pinfire system, making it a prominent example of the transitional period between percussion cap-and-ball firearms and modern centerfire cartridges. Blue barrel and cylinder with case colored frame and hammer.  Checkered walnut grips. The barrel is sharp and crisp with a nice brown patina. The frame retains some of the case colors and the rest blending to a nice gray.  The grips are very good. The action doesn't function correctly.
