9MM Pinfire caliber, 2" barrels S/N 7416,NSN. Popularized across France and Belgium from about the 1850sto the 1870s, the pepperbox design features a multi-barrel rotating cluster into a single, compact unit. Operating on Casimir Lefaucheux's pioneering pinfire system, this self-defense weapon was built for deep-concealment carry. It features a streamlined folding trigger profile that tucks neatly into the frame to avoid snagging on a pocket or vest. Engraved barrels and frame with checkered walnut grips. This entire revolver is very sharp and crisp, with traces of blue finish on the barrels. The frame with a nice plum brown patina. Overall this pistol is excellent.
