10 MM Pinfire caliber, 3.5" barrel length, NSN. A French Double-Barrel Boxlock Pinfire Pistol by the celebrated gunsmith P. Boissy of Saint-Étienne. Boissy achieved considerable success during this era for his high-quality, luxury pocket firearms, even earning prestigious awards at the 1855 Paris Universal Exposition. Marked on the frame "Boisasy" with proofs on the underside of the barrel.  Brown Damascus barrels retaining most of the finish.  The frame is deeply engrave with six panels with three on each side.  The frame was hardened then polish. The frame is sharp and crisp with very nice engraving maintaining a gray look.  Fluted and carved ebony grips are excellent.
