1.5" across the front of the muzzle, 4.5" brass barrel length, NSN.  Often referred to as a miniature blunderbuss, pistols with an oval-flared muzzle were engineered specifically to spread shot horizontally, providing a wider path of destruction ideal for personal defense against multiple attackers at close range. Brass barrel and engraved frame with a panoply of arms on each side. Steel hammer and triggerguard. Safety behind the hammer. Replaced nipple.  Overall very good condition.
