12 gauge, 30" laminated twist barrels, NSN. R.& S.H. Thompson was a small manufacturer in England producing firearms in the mid to late 19th century. Representing a short but important part of firearms history by utilizing the pin fire metallic cartridge system. Engraved back-action locks with floral design and marked "R. & S.H Thompson".  Under lever to break down action.  Checkered forearm and checkered buttstock. Front bead sight. The barrels retain most of the Damascus finish with a little thinning.  The hammers and locks with nice even gray look. The action blends en suite with all metal surfaces.  Sharp and crisp. Stock and forearm with some nicks and dings. The bores are nice and shiny.  The action locks up nice and tight.
