16 gauge side by side with the rifle barrel in 7X57R, S/N 450433.  This vintage German Drilling is an example of the multi-barrel combination hunting firearms traditionally produced by Central European gunsmith guilds. Engineered to handle a variety of game with a single platform, the firearm mounts a side-by-side smoothbore shotgun assembly directly over a single, centralized rifled barrel. Marked on the left side of the barrels "Waffen-Bach Frankfurt". Blue barrels retaining nearly all of the original finish. The frame retains nearly all of the bright case color and nicely engraved.  The stock is finely checkered with cheekpiece and horn buttplate.  Checkered forearm.  Stock and forearm are nearly new.  The entire rifle is excellent.  The bores are bright and shiny.
