.22 caliber, 2" barrel length, S/N 1298. Produced in Worcester, MA between 1868 and 1880, this miniature post-Civil War derringer is an engineering marvel, featuring three vertically stacked barrels and a unique rotating firing pin indicator. Estimates on production put about 3,500 ever produced in that 12 year span. Marked on the flats of the barrels on both sides "Frank Wesson, Worcester Mass". Brass Frame with rosewood grips. Mechanically fine. The barrels are sharp and crisp. The brass frame has nice dark patina. The grips are very good.  Nice and tight action.
