30 rimfire caliber, 3" barrel length, NSN. Factory Engraved Remington-Rider Magazine Pistol manufactured by E. Remington & Sons in Ilion, New York, between 1871 and 1888, this innovative pocket pistol was designed by Joseph Rider and stands as one of the very first magazine-fed repeating handguns ever produced. Full nickel finish with scroll engraving. Ivory grips. No markings nor serial number. Blued hammer and breechblock. All metal retains nearly all of the original nickel finish. The ivory grips are very good. The engraving is sharp and crisp. Overall excellent.
