.38 S&W caliber, 5" barrel length, S/N 95913.  A highly collectible example of American frontier firearms history; a Smith & Wesson .38 Single Action 2nd Model Revolver featuring a scarce 5" barrel. While the vast majority of Second Models were produced with shorter pocket barrels, this specimen boasts the much less common 5" ribbed barrel. Blue finish with amber style hard rubber grips with S&W logo. This revolver retains most of the original blue finish in the protected areas with wear to the high edges. The grips are in excellent condition. The bore is excellent. This is a rare revolver with 5" barrel and in blue.
