.22 short caliber, 24" octagonal barrel length, S/N 543964. Winchester Model 1890 "Semi-Deluxe" Slide-Action Rifle was designed by the legendary Browning brothers. The Model 1890 was Winchester's foundational rimfire pump-action gun. While the overwhelming majority of these rifles shipped with standard plain wood, this premium Semi-Deluxe variant bridges the gap between standard utility and full presentation. It features a factory-upgraded fancy-grade walnut pistol grip stock. This rifle retains most of the original blue finish on the barrel.  The receiver has been redone and it is a beautiful job. Comes with a plain fancy walnut pistol grip stock with Winchester pistol grips hardrubber cap. Grooved forearm with fancy wood.  A very attractive semi-deluxe model 1890.
