.40 caliber, 3" hammered round barrels, NSN. Each pistol features two vertically stacked barrels fired by independent dual external hammers. The frames and lockplates are embellished with classic French neo-Rococo foliate scrollwork and delicate floral engravings. The select ebony grips are carved, featuring crisp checkering and fluted panels. A matching pair representing the peak of mid-19th-century French pocket firearm craftsmanship. This pair of pistols are in very fine to excellent overall condition.
