1.25" bore diameter, 5.75" octagonal to round brass barrel, NSN. A very imposing firearm, these large bore with flared cannon style barrels were designed for close range defense. Popular on both naval ships and coach defense. This early flintlock blunderbuss dates to the end of the 17th century or early 18th century. Iron lockplate, hammer, frizzen and pan.  Walnut stock with brass furniture.  This is an early style with beveled lockplate and rounded hammer.  Overall this pistol is excellent.
