7.65 caliber, 3.5" barrel, S/N 47004. A very interesting sidearm that has seen two World Wars and civilian use.  The 1934 upgrade designed for the Austrian Police force. The police force desired a more durable sidearm and as opposed to purchasing side arms, the Austrian Police hired Steyr to rework existing 1908 pistols.  They became known as the Steyr Model 1908/34. Blue finish with the safety and some of the screws with higher blue finish. Hard rubber grips with Steyr logo. This pistol retains most of the blue finish and the highlight of the safety and screws are excellent.  The grips are excellent.  The bore is excellent.
