9mm caliber, 5.25" barrel, S/N 12770. The Astra 600/43 was held under two contracts. The first contract was the Nazi contract consisting of serial numbers 1 -10,500. The production of the Astra 600/43 was explicitly for the Nazi military. As the Allied forces moved north destroying the Nazi military the remaining firearms ordered set in storage. The remaining inventory post was purchased by the West German Federal Republic that included serial numbers 10,501 - 59,500. Satin parkerized finish, with checkered walnut grips.  Marked on the top of the barrel "Astra" in a circle. Military proof marks on the left side of the frame.  Overall very good with excellent bore.
