.22 caliber, 7.250" barrel length with threaded at the muzzle for suppressor with cap cover, S/N 11627. Designed by Eugene "Gus" Reising who famously worked under John Browning to perfect the Colt Model 1911.  With only 5,000 - 6,000 of these produced during a rocky production cycle.  This specific Reising target pistol was made during the second run with a New York address and production dates of 1924 - 1926.  During this timeframe Reising was arrested in New York for trafficking pistols to the criminal underground. Reising would later redeemed himself in the legitimate gun world by inventing the M50 submachine gun used by the USMC during WWII. Blue finish with target sights. Brown checkered grips with bear logo. Logo of a bear representing the Reising slogan "It's a Bear".  Excellent overall retaining nearly all of the original blue finish. The bore is excellent.
