Colt D.A. .38 caliber, 6" round barrel, S/N 225923.  Colt Model 1889 U.S. Navy Double-Action Revolver represents a step forward in firearms evolution as the very first swing-out cylinder, double-action revolver ever adopted by the United States military. Two-line barrel address and marked on the bottom of the strap "USN" over "Anchor" over "No 15668, 225923".  Blue finish with Colt logo and hard rubber grips.This revolver retains a lot of the original blue finish. A small bright spot on the right side of the frame with a little wear around the muzzle and a streak thru the cylinder stops.  The bore is excellent bright and shiny.
