.36 caliber, 4" octagonal barrel, S/N 21541. The barrel is numbered 20735. This is an early third model Navy Colt. The barrel has been shortened and the loading lever has been removed. All matching numbers with exception of the barrel. The cylinder is very good with almost all of the cylinder scene visible. The barrel is mostly a gunmetal gray with sharp and crisp markings. The frame is gray with some light staining. The backstrap and triggerguard with a nice dark patina. The grips are very good with some scuffs. This comes with an outstanding hand tooled Slim Jim Holster that fits very well and been partner together for a long time. Short barrel pistols like this are often referred to as a Avenging Angel revolver. This pistol has a great western personality.
