.690 bore diameter, 7.375 tapered round barrel, NSN. Left side of the barrel near the breech marked with french proofs and "18".  Marked on the brass frame with "St Entienne" and French proof marks. French markings in the walnut stock and dated 1782. Brass butt cap, iron backstrap and constructed with belt clip. The barrel and ramrod have a nice even gray with some staining.  The brass with nice aged patina.  The stock has some nicks and dings.  Overall excellent and original flintlock.  A great Revolutionary War period item.
