.550 caliber, 47.5" smooth bore octagonal barrel with flared muzzle, NSN. Typical design silhouette of a North Africa or Middle East Snaphaunce Moulaka rifle.  Highly decorative with the barrel silver wrapped in bands with engraved indigenous patterns.  Brass ramrod included.  The butt stock with decorative bone inlays with red wire work consisting of brass and iron throughout the entire stock.  Some parts are finished in gilt. Overall this is an excellent example of a Mideastern Snaphaunce Moulaka retaining most of the finish and decoration throughout.  Sharp colors are present and highlight the bone inlays.  Very artistic as these pieces represented individual use ans status.
