.540 bore diameter, 44" swapped octagonal barrel, NSN. A late Indian matchlock known as a Torador.  By 1780 most countries abandoned the matchlock system. However, it was favored by the Mughal empire as they were cheap and easy to produce.  They remained in use both military and the civilian sector well into the 19th Century. Brass lockplate with brass bands and brass sling swivels. Bone and ivory inlays. Wood stock with metal ramrod.  Overall in very good condition. This Indian Matchlock is complete and all original.
