97" length,  A good and honest example of a classic European infantry polearm dating to the opening decades of the 17th century. Serving as a battlefield weapon of the late Renaissance and the Thirty Years' War, the halberd was a versatile weapon combining the thrusting capability of a pike, the cleaving power of an axe, and the armor-piercing hook of a war hammer The crescentic axe will formed and pierced.  The fluke down swept, The long central spike well forged.  The pole a period replacement.  Good well patinated condition.  A far better than average halberd.
