This is a classic helmet worn by Oliver Cromwell's Round Heads and often taken to the American Colonies. The skull in two pieces.  Most of these being offered are modern fakes. This one is entirely original.  Condition is good overall with excellent 17th century patination. Ear flaps are absent as is invariably the case. Weighs 6.6 lbs.
