French, 19th century. A 19th century Bronze and ormolu mantel clock of Madame de stael possibly by Pierre Philippe Thomire, ormolu Madame de Stael seated atop foliate decorated bronze plinth with foot resting on broken column and left hand with harp, mounted ormolu clock face with roman numerals, atop of a marble base with mounted festoons, all rising on foliate decorated base with bun feet; ht. 18, wd. 13.5, dp. 5.5 inches. Overall good condition. Small cracks throughout marble with age and use. Oxidation with age throughout ormolu. Two keys are present with clock.
