German, 20th Century.  Brass case. Painted face with Arabic numerals and second dial. Front of face marked "Rolf Gerdes & CO. Hamburg 11". Back of case marked "Rolf Gerdes U. Co., Hamburg". Measures 6" height by 6" width. Also accompanied by a nautical brass desk top compass. Marked on face "Osaka Japan". Measures 9.5" height by 8" width. Clock is untested but appears in fair to good condition with wear showing on clock face. Brass compass appears to be a 20th century copy.
